Best Western Rochester Hotel Mayo Clinic Area/ St. Mary'S, Rochester

Upon arriving at the hotel, I found the rooms to be disappointing as they were not ready for check-in at the scheduled time of 4 p.m. The dilapidated state of the rooms, with signs of mold on the curtains and in the bathroom, was a concern. However, the staff's exceptional friendliness and helpfulness made up for the room issues.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious enough for my family of 5, but unfortunately, they were filthy and directly beneath a very noisy air conditioning unit. Despite my daily requests for servicing, the room was never cleaned. However, the ample space allowed the baby to play comfortably.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. While the room was cozy with a fire place, I found it a bit dirty with cobwebs and even an old smelly shirt in the sofa. The service was friendly and accommodating, but there were some issues with leaving doors open in cold weather. The location was convenient, close to the clinic but with some cleanliness concerns. The dining experience was better than usual, offering a variety of grab-and-go foods. Overall, a stay with both positives and negatives.
